The Lidar laser

Bambu Micro Lidar brings micrometre-level precision to 3D printing. The system scans the nozzle height, calibrates the flow and scans the first layer, so the possible applications become endless.

Dual automatic print bed levelling

Bambu Lab X1 Carbon uses two independent sensors and an algorithm to measure the height of the nozzle relative to the print bed. The Lidar and the analogue force sensors provide additional redundancy when levelling the print bed.

AI-inspected first layer

Tired of waiting for the first layer? Bambu Lab X1 Carbon helps you with that. The Lidar sensor can inspect the first layer, so you can get back to... everything else.

Print from anywhere and with any device

You can send prints with Bambu Studio, and you can control your printer anytime, anywhere with Bambu Handy. SD card and the local network are also supported for printing your projects.
