Stable Scan Stage (SSS) METHOD
The Freedom UHD is a first-class scanner featuring the patented SSS method developed by DOF.
The SSS method allows the camera to provide movements over the scanned part. When the cameras and the light module rotate around the centre of the scan stage, your models remain stable during the scan process. This in turn enables scanning without fixing agents or adhesives.

Scan impression
Freedom UHD is excellent for scanning plaster models. However, it is also optimised for scanning silicone and alginate impressions. With our innovative HSS algorithm you can capture areas that are difficult to scan and output positive models.

The Freedom UHD dental scanner is also optimised for orthodontic applications. The scan data obtained either from your model or from the impression has the necessary features to be ready for your orthodontic planning.
