The MEDIT i700 – impressive speed meets mature ease of use.

At 245 g the MEDIT i700 is around 25 per cent more compact and 12 per cent lighter than its predecessor – making it one of the easiest-to-use intraoral scanners on the market. Two high-speed cameras deliver up to 70 frames per second for a smooth scanning process: video-based scanning with 3D-in-Motion video technology captures more data in less time and avoids choppy scan results. The precise full-colour scans allow reliable differentiation of tissue, plaque and tooth structure – with a full-arch accuracy of 10.9 µm (± 0.98). Scanning is powder-free with an LED light source and adaptive anti-fog technology.

The slim design of the scan head with a 45-degree mirror angle makes it easier to manoeuvre into the distal molar region and increases patient comfort. The tip, which can be turned through 180 degrees (autoclavable up to 100 times), adapts to any scan position. Further convenience is provided by the 1-button operation directly on the handpiece: you start and end the scan at any time without having to touch the computer – supplemented by a remote control function for operating the software from the treatment position. A unique feature of the i700: the integrated UV-C disinfection in the handpiece for additional hygiene between applications. It connects via Plug & Scan through a single USB 3.1 cable with Power Delivery – with no separate power supply or cable clutter; the handpiece is detachable.

The easy-to-understand Medit Link software platform is included in the scope of delivery – with no annual licence fees. The scan software automatically aligns the occlusion by a simple scan of the bite, individual areas can be locked so they are not updated during further scanning, and in addition to the 3D model data 2D images can also be captured to record details. As an open system, the i700 exports to STL, PLY and OBJ – for seamless further processing in exocad and any other CAD software.
