Over 50 % ceramic, radiopaque, definitive – Ceramic Crown sets the standard for printed crowns.
SprintRay Ceramic Crown is a hybrid nanoceramic resin with MDR and FDA approval (Class II) for definitive full crowns, partial crowns and veneers. As a ceramic-dominant material, it consists of more than 50 % inorganic ceramic and is radiopaque – restorations remain clearly visible on X-ray images.
With a flexural strength of 150 MPa and a flexural modulus of 7,800 MPa, Ceramic Crown positions itself on the level of established crown materials. The material is easy to finish and polish and integrates aesthetically into the remaining dentition – as part of the SprintRay ecosystem, definitive same-day crowns are created in under 45 minutes of total process time.
The 45-minute workflow: Upload the intraoral scan of the preparation (STL, any scanner system), AI design via SprintRay Cloud Design in around 5 minutes for posterior crowns, printing in 10–15 minutes with the Pro S Crown Kit or Pro 2 Arch Kit, washing in isopropanol and post-curing in the ProCure 2 or NanoCure (profile „SprintRay Crown“), finally glazing or polishing and adhesive cementation. With material costs of around €9 per crown, same-day treatment also becomes the first choice economically.
For the capsule-based Midas workflow, the material is also available as a MIDAS Ceramic Crown DPS capsule.
