Unsere Mission

Die exocad GmbH bietet ihren Vertriebspartnern flexible, zuverlässige und einfach bedienbare Software und erweitert damit die Möglichkeiten der digitalen Zahntechnik und Zahnmedizin. Die Technologie von exocad ermöglicht es Systemintegratoren, umfassende, branchenführende Lösungen für den Dentalmarkt zusammenzustellen.

Geschichte und Entwicklung

Das Unternehmen wurde 2010 als Spin-Off des renommierten Fraunhofer Instituts gegründet. Dabei wurde die vom Fraunhofer Institut entwickelte dentale CAD-Technologie an exocad übertragen und dort seitdem aktiv weiterentwickelt. Seit mehr als sieben Jahren arbeiten unsere engagierten Ingenieure und Forscher fortlaufend an der Entwicklung modernster Innovationen für die Dentalindustrie.

2016 erwarb Carlyle Europe Technology Partners (CETP) Unternehmensanteile, während das Fraunhofer Institut seine Anteile abgab. Mithilfe des globalen Netzwerks von Carlyle will exocad sein dynamisches Wachstum weiter ausbauen und seine Position als unabhängiger und innovativer Technologieanbieter stärken.
