The proven standard for definitive restorations – Ceramic Crown turns the Midas into a chairside production unit.
SprintRay Ceramic Crown is an FDA 510(k) Class II cleared material for 3D printing definitive dental restorations – now available in DPS capsules for the capsule-based Digital Press workflow of the SprintRay Midas. The ceramic-dominant formulation with over 50 % ceramic content delivers the mechanical properties that matter for long-lasting restorations: high strength, wear resistance and reliable marginal fit – even in the load-bearing posterior region.
Each single-unit capsule combines build platform, tank and material in one unit: insert, print, remove – without mixing, without resin handling, without cleaning the printer. Each capsule produces up to 1 crown, 2 inlays/onlays or 3 veneers in under 10 minutes – making single-visit restorations a standard procedure.
With a flexural strength of 150 MPa and a flexural modulus of 7,800 MPa, Ceramic Crown is on par with established crown materials. For optimal results, final polymerisation is carried out in the SprintRay NanoCure (alternatively ProCure 2). For highly translucent anterior aesthetics we additionally recommend SprintRay Crown HT.
