Jaw registration without cables – the JMA-Optic system in the WLAN version.

The JMA-Optic digital facebow records all degrees of freedom of movement of the lower jaw contactlessly, quickly and precisely – worn like a pair of glasses, with padded support surfaces and a headband, without disturbing cables in the patient's field of vision. A mechanical facebow is no longer required: the system determines the upper jaw position at the same time. In the WLAN version the system works completely wirelessly – freely movable between treatment rooms, with a table holder including a charging function.

From the patient to CAD: The patented, scannable coupling tray links the real movement data with the digitised tooth surfaces – whether scanned intraorally or in the laboratory. The WINJAW+ software calculates the setting values of both mechanical and virtual articulators of all common makes and exports real-movement data to exocad at the click of a mouse; functional and occlusal analysis (incl. neuromuscular jaw relation and condyle position analysis EPA) is on board.

The wired, more affordable entry-level variant: JMA-Optic Measuring System USB. In the laboratory workflow the exocad Jaw Motion Import module picks up the data directly – for restorations and splints based on real patient movement instead of average values.
