The MEDIT i900 – ALL IN: the new touch generation of the i-series, feather-light and as intuitive as a smartphone.

With the MEDIT i900, MEDIT redefines the scanning experience: the premium scanner replaces the button-controlled devices of the past with fully touch-activated operation – every detail is designed for effortless efficiency, right from the first scan, with no steep learning curve.

At its heart is the completely redesigned 3rd-generation optical engine with 10-bit imaging: brilliant, colour-accurate captures with low noise, a large field of view of 18 × 15 mm and a scan depth of up to 30 mm – ideal even for edentulous jaws and deep preparations. Even difficult areas such as reflective metal, fluids or bleeding soft tissue are captured reliably and in detail by the i900. With Realtime Intelligence, the scanner checks scan data and preparation status in real time – while the patient is still in the chair.

Operation is designed ALL IN for touch: using the 360° TouchBand™, you start and stop the scan with a double tap from any grip angle and switch between scan phases with a swipe gesture. With the TouchPad you navigate through the scan data as on a smartphone – rotate, zoom, pan – and access further customisable functions via the touch menu, without taking off your gloves. The intelligent sensor provides LED and haptic feedback, and with Start Automatic Scan a complete scan is finished in under a minute, without pressing a button.

At just 165 g (incl. scan tip), the i900 is around 33 % lighter and around 30 % more compact than its predecessor – for fatigue-free working and perfect balance in any hand size. The seamless unibody design without joints is durable and hygienically easy to clean, and the thin, flexible USB-C cable is barely noticeable. Fast pre-heating, adaptive anti-fogging technology and the extended calibration interval of up to 90 days minimise preparation time in everyday practice.

You export the scan data in the open STL format or directly as an exocad project – managed via the open MEDIT Link platform with its extensive app suite, with no follow-up costs for updates or upgrades.
