With the MEDIT i900 classic, MEDIT presents the next generation of its successful i-series. Equipped with state-of-the-art technology, the i900 classic sets new standards in speed, precision and user comfort – combining the familiar tactile button control with the latest advances in digital dentistry.

At its heart is the 3rd-generation optical engine with 10-bit camera technology: it delivers brilliant, colour-accurate images with a large field of view and a scan depth of up to 30 mm – ideal also for edentulous jaws and deep preparations. AI-based algorithms capture scan data even more precisely and deliver reliable results even under difficult conditions, such as highly reflective metal or bleeding tissue. With Realtime Intelligence, the scanner checks scan data and preparation status in real time – while the patient is still in the chair.

At just 165 g (incl. scan tip), the i900 classic is around 33% lighter than its predecessor and around 30% more compact – for fatigue-free work in any situation. The seamless unibody design without joints and gaps is durable and hygienically easy to clean. The fast preheating makes the scanner ready to use in seconds, the adaptive anti-fogging technology prevents the mirror from fogging up, and the wired USB-C connection guarantees stable data transmission without interruptions. The extended calibration interval of up to 90 days reduces interruptions in everyday practice.

The new scan engine achieves over 70 FPS (depending on the computer used) for extremely short scan times, while soft tissue and overlaps are automatically removed with AI support. The new scan tips in S, M and L (field of view up to 18 × 15 mm) can be autoclaved up to 150 times. You export the scan data in the open STL format or directly as an exocad project – managed via the open platform MEDIT Link, without follow-up costs for updates or upgrades.
