With the Aoralscan Elite, SHINING 3D revolutionises the All-on-X workflow: as the world's first device, it combines intraoral scanning with photogrammetry – the groundbreaking Intraoral Photogrammetry technology (IPG) in a compact two-in-one system. In everyday practice, the Elite works as an exceptional digital intraoral scanner for restorations, orthodontics and implantology – and with full-arch implants it plays to its IPG strength.
The IPG captures the implant positions and the data of the entire dental arch with high precision using just one scanner – with 5 µm IPG precision for a reliable passive fit of both the provisional and the final restoration. Scan caps position the coded scan body precisely within the surrounding soft tissue in immediate-loading cases, and the IPG-coded scan bodies are compatible with over 100 implant manufacturers worldwide. The accuracy of the technology has been scientifically validated in numerous independent studies.
At the same time, the Elite remains slim and light: just 124 g (without cable) at a compact 245 × 30 × 26 mm and with an ergonomic design – for fatigue-free scanning with structured light at 22 mm scan depth, connected via a single USB-C cable. The standard tip (16 × 12 mm) and the mini tip (12 × 9 mm) cover everyday practice, while the large IPG tip captures the entire oral geometry of edentulous patients with exceptional clarity.
The open system exports to STL, OBJ and PLY and uses the same software suite as all SHINING 3D intraoral scanners – including comprehensive tools for patient communication and clinical design. New: the Aoralscan Elite is now also compatible with macOS. Experts have already recognised the concept: in 2024 the Elite was named IOS of the Year and officially certified by the Digital Dentistry Society (DDS). For maximum mobility in the practice, the Elite can be combined with the E-Motion Cart – also available from us, as are the bundle and the wireless variants.
