The SilaMill R5 (vhf R5, High End Class) is the highly automated milling and grinding machine for lab and practice: five axes with ±35° rotation angle, an 800-watt spindle with up to 80,000 rpm and ±3 µm repeatability process all materials common in dental technology – from PMMA and zirconium oxide through glass ceramic to titanium and CoCr.

Its trump card is automation: the 10-fold disc changer (alternatively 60 blocks or prefab abutments) works around the clock, the patent-pending directclean Technology switches on the fly between wet and dry machining – with ioniser, self-cleaning and integrated drying. The directdisc Technology clamps discs tool-free in seconds, wet machining is done with clear water from the integrated tank (except for titanium, entirely without additives). Webcam in the working chamber, 16-position tool magazine and the licence-free CAM software dentalcam including block holder are included in the package.
